Accuweigh commissions single deck public weighbridge for MCG Quarries

ACCUWEIGH has commissioned a single deck public weighbridge for MCG Quarries in South Moranbah.

The weighbridge is being used to weigh outgoing quarry trucks carrying aggregates and road base.

The concrete deck weighbridge measures 28m x 3.5m with a weighing capacity of 80t to enable B Doubles and small Road Trains to be weighed. Due to its remote location, the weighbridge is powered by a UPS operating off a local generator.

As the weighbridge has been registered for use as a public weighbridge, local companies can also obtain legal truck weight tickets from the facility.

To conform to government regulations for Registered Public Weighbridges, Accuweigh also supplied AASoftware’s Ticket Aid Pro+ weighbridge software with the optional Public Weighbridge module.
