Accuweigh’s Budpak branch to provide net weigher for Malayan Sugar

ACCUWEIGH says its Newcastle Budpak branch is currently manufacturing a net weigher for white refined sugar, destined for Malayan Sugar Manufacturing.

According to Accuweigh, the NW2G90S net weigher is constructed from AISI 316 stainless steel with easy access to internal components for cleaning purposes through multiple large opening doors.

Budpak’s NW2G90S net weigher is a duplex model with two separate net weighing systems contained in a single frame, allowing two bagging lines to operate simultaneously.

The duplex new weigher will be weighing sugar in batches of 25kg and 50kg with a production rate of 16-18 bags per minute with accuracies of +/- 40 to 50g.

The NW2G90S net weigher operates through a Budpak PakScan 500 high speed controller which precisely regulates gate positions for adjusting the main feed flow rates.

The PakScan controller is based on an Allen Bradley touch screen PLC and can precisely regulate up to eight different weighing systems simultaneously.
