The UniGripper automatically senses the position of products and creates the necessary lifting force where required. According to the distributor, it can be used with robotic and other automated handling systems to provide flexible and effective timber product handling.
The unit can handle flat or contoured planks, boards and panels with cutouts such as windows, door frames, mouldings and profiles, as well as crates, boxes and barrels. It is capable of lifting, positioning, machine loading, processing and general handling.
Unigripper is available as a standard module system or can be custom built and delivered complete in any size required to suit the specific application. It can be equipped with a range of accessories such as robot adaptors, sensor units and side-grippers.
