INDUSTRIAL motors and drives manufacturer Bonfiglioli has expanded, opening a new office and warehouse in Perth.
The new premises will provide extra space and service facilities to cater for rapidly growing demand in Western Australia. It will have expanded stocking and local assembly and testing facilities.
According to the company, growth in the state was driven by the resources and infrastructure sectors. In particular, there was strong demand for advanced drives technologies such as the company’s Trasmital planetaries, the heavy duty HDP parallel shaft and HDO bevel helical series.
The global Bonfiglioli group had grown 75% over the past five years, with Australia and New Zealand contributing record performances in 2007.
