Lubricant blending and packing plant commissions new forklifts

According to the company, Toyota Material Handling provided good support and servicing, and the leasing option allowed it to update its fleet more frequently.FUCHS Lubricant has commissioned six new Toyota forklifts at its Newcastle blending and packing plant.

The lubricants blended and packed at the facility go to the mining, automotive and industrial sectors in NSW and Queensland.

The company leased five two-tonne payload compact 8-FGK20 forklifts and one three-tonne 8-FGK30 unit.

The new forklifts replace five 7-Series Toyota forklifts. According to the company, Toyota Material Handling provided good support and servicing, and the leasing option allowed it to update its fleet more frequently.

The six new forklifts are said to be equipped with a “De Luxe” pack, with a speed alert, speed limiter, and an additional travel and load-handling controller.

Other safety features include the Toyota System fo Active Stability (SAS) and Operator Presence Sensing (OPS).
