The bioreactor has capacities of up to 1000 cubic meters a day, and the technology has a rotating carriage said to cost 65% less to use compared to alternatives.

The VRM process consists of a system of ultra filtration membranes submerged within aeration tanks. It combines biological wastewater treatment with solids/liquid separation. According to the company, the quality of the service water meets most current international regulations.

The system also eliminates the need for subsequent secondary clarification tanks, sand filters or a disinfection plant often required for advanced wastewater treatment.
